Matt Berres is the Senior Vice President of Service Operations for KETTLER. He is responsible for leading daily operations, capital renovations, and strategy of the Service Division that supports the ~80 communities and ~19,000 apartment homes currently under KETTLER management. Matt also collaborates with construction and design divisions on new development planning.

Prior to joining KETTLER in April 2021, Matt served as a Regional Portfolio Maintenance Director with Avalon Bay Communities leading service operations in the MidAtlantic. Matt has 19 years of experience in residential property management across a wide spectrum of asset classes and ownership models.
Matt has a Masters of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Laurel, MD with his wife, two children, two dogs and spends his free time gardening, hiking & camping and scuba diving.
