Matt Berres has over 20 years of experience in residential property management across a wide spectrum of asset classes and ownership models. He has worked in various leadership roles in the industry at COOPs, REITs, public and private sector entities. He now serves in a senior executive capacity with a privately held national property development and management firm. Matt is currently responsible for leading daily operations, capital renovations, and strategy of the Service Division that supports the 100+ communities and more than 20,000 apartment homes. Matt also has a proven track record of success collaborating with asset management, construction & design divisions and owners on new development planning has been directly involved in more than a dozen ground up new multi-family construction projects.

Matt has a Masters of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University. He lives in Laurel, MD with his wife, two children, two dogs and spends his free time gardening, hiking & camping and  scuba diving.
